Pat Barnickel is a NJ-based artist who grew up surfing at the Jersey Shore. He started his tattoo career in 2018 at Electric Tattoo, but only began experimenting with airbrushing on surfboards earlier this year—bringing his artistic vision full circle by blending his love for surfing with his skills as a tattoo artist.
Loving Wing // <edium flat deck with mini down-rails. Mellow roll entry to rolled triplane with an FM-level spiral vee into flat. Wing pintail.. a little more parallel outline than the FM, she’ll have a little more straight line speed and stability for working around the boards whole length, especially for forward trim and strobing out sections with glide to spare. Playing in the blank spaces between my favorite shapes and blending in new bits to see what comes out the other side.. oh ya - single, twin or parallel 2+1 fin setup, plenty of options.
